About Ikhlas

Hello! My name is Ikhlas Ajami, and I am currently an English university student with a passion for supporting young learners. I have successfully helped two children prepare for and pass their 11+ entry exams, enabling them to secure places at their chosen schools. My approach is patient, tailored, and focused on building both the skills and confidence necessary for exam success. I understand the importance of this milestone and am committed to providing professional, engaging, and personalised tutoring to help your child thrive. Rest assured, I am dedicated to guiding students to reach their full potential in a supportive and encouraging environment.

About the lesson

The way lessons will be set up we will start with an entry-level test for the child to complete so I can assess how future lessons will look like targeting missing pieces of knowledge. Lessons will be a minimum of two hours at a time with a 15-minute break in between for the child if needed. It'll be structured as if the child is at school but it'll be a one-to-one lesson and there will be questions/ mini quizzes at the end or beginning of each session to see how much knowledge is being retained. I have experience with the 11+ prep as I have now successfully helped two children take and pass their 11+ entry exams and were both accepted to their schools of choice. Lessons are for children as young as year 4 up to children about to at the end of year 5. This is because we will need time to teach specific content that children won't know that'll only show up in the 11+ papers, they won't learn it at school.
