About Jen
I have a master's degree and bachelor's degree from Wimbledon School of Art UAL and the University of Reading, respectively. I have exhibited with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters at the Mall Galleries, London, Wells Contemporary at Wells Cathedral, the Royal Cambrian, Edinburgh Art Fair and Battersea Art Fair. I have also appeared on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year and Landscape Artist of the Year. I work with Fallingwater in Pennsylvania, as part of an ongoing residency aimed at highlighting the organic architecture and harmony with nature that Frank Lloyd Wright originated. Due to my experience, I have very varied knowledge of art techniques and the art world itself and how to navigate both. I love to teach technique but can also help with portfolio prep and the contextual and conceptual sides of art

I cover a wide range of styles, from sketching, photorealism and expressionism to graphic colour blocking. I cover everything from traditional methods, to how to use technology to help you improve your skills. Whatever your current skill level is, I can help you improve. My work spans graphic, colour theory-driven landscapes and realistic animal and human portraiture, with botanical, William Morris-inspired patterns. Wherever you are in your education, I can accommodate to help you learn new skills and improve.
