About Sean
I am Sean Van Echelpoel, graduated cum laude in the visual arts and currently working within the arts and fashion.
In my work I always strive for a multidisciplinary approach within the photographic, cinematographic and graphic media. this allows me to keep pushing my boundaries, by dealing innovatively with each project and by developing a powerful visual language within that particular medium.
This comes in handy for one of my clients, Matthias Geerts, for whom I create (influencer) content for his social media on a freelance basis. We have already cooperated for clients such as Zalando, Armani, The nue co, Samsoe Samsoe, Nubikk, Olymp and Scotch & Soda. This manifested itself mainly in photo and video campaigns.

My classes are intended for everyone with a passion and sense of aesthetics and images, regardless of your level. Would you like to sharpen your technical side and learn about the operation of a camera (digital and/or analog), lighting (daylight, studio, location), composition, image framing and postproduction software (adobe)? Or would you like to strengthen the substantive side of your visual work (learning to work conceptually with a narrative, evoke associations, approach themes in a unique way,...)? If you want both, so much the better!
My method first starts with an introductory meeting so that I can get to know you as a person and we can discuss the goals you have in mind with these lessons.
Next we proceed step by step and we first start with a technical basis that is ideally linked to a practical assignment that I will give. This way you can get to know yourself in this profession and I can then give constructive feedback on this. In this way, you will develop into an image-maker.
