About Poppy
I am a singing educator with 11 years of teaching experience and a PhD in Vocal Performance. Throughout my career, I have guided students of different ages and experience levels toward stronger vocal technique and greater confidence in performance.
My teaching approach combines technical precision with artistic development. I believe every voice has unique strengths, and I enjoy helping students discover and refine those qualities. Lessons are adapted to suit each learner's goals and musical interests.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing, studying vocal repertoire, and exploring different musical traditions. These experiences continue to inspire my teaching and deepen my understanding of vocal artistry. I look forward to helping students develop their voices and achieve their musical aspirations.

My singing lessons are designed to help students build a healthy, expressive, and reliable voice through structured vocal training. We focus on breath management, pitch accuracy, resonance, vocal control, phrasing, articulation, and stage presence. Lessons are tailored to support steady improvement while maintaining enjoyment and creativity.
I incorporate vocal exercises, ear training, song interpretation, performance techniques, confidence-building activities, and repertoire development into lessons. Students receive personalized guidance that helps them improve technical ability while developing their own musical style and expressive confidence.
Every lesson promotes growth through consistency, patience, and encouragement. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring their voices and developing new skills. My goal is to help learners become confident singers who enjoy sharing their music with others.
