About Diana
Perhaps you feel the music but cannot quite translate that emotion into your voice. As a Colombian expat, I bring the warmth of cumbia and vallenato to my work with adults, kids, advanced learners, and returning learners.
Teaching 406 students has shown me that every person carries a unique song within them. My journey spans the traditions of bolero and flamenco, which I share as an integrated cultural package. I have spent 13 years refining this expressive teaching style.
I notice the small habits that hold a singer back. We will work to ensure your voice remains free and resonant. I look forward to hearing your progress.

Singing is a physical extension of your soul. I believe that technical mastery begins with a solid foundation in breathing control and vocal resonance. My Bachelor of Music degree from the Queensland Conservatorium provides the rigor I apply to harmony singing and vibrato control. During our time together, I utilize my 13 years of experience to assist with stage fright management and genre styling.
You receive free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes to use between sessions. We move through head and chest voice exercises to ensure your vocal range extension feels natural. It is quite rewarding to hear a student find their true tone.
