About Camila
Adults and kids often walk into my studio feeling unsure about their own voices. I am a musician with a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music from the University of Southern California. My life is split between performing in Austin and teaching people how to sing with power.
I have worked with 362 students, including advanced learners and those returning to music after a long break. You might find me working on breathing control or genre styling during a typical afternoon.
It is honest work, and I love seeing my students gain confidence. I enjoy being the coach who gets you from an open mic to a home recording. My goal is to make sure you feel ready for any audience. Let us get to work on your sound.

It is actually better if you start your first session without any expectations of perfection. We will spend our time moving through breathing and warm-up exercises that I provide for free so you have a guide for your daily practice.
I focus on the mechanics of head and chest voice, tone, and resonance to ensure your instrument is healthy and strong. With my 12 years of experience as a gigging performer, I offer practical advice on stage fear management and rhythm phrasing that you cannot find in a textbook.
You will learn to control your vibrato and bridge the gap between pop, classical, or musical theater styles. It is incredibly rewarding to watch a student find their resonance for the first time during these sessions. We make the technical stuff feel like a breeze.
