About Josephine
I’m passionate about teaching because it’s incredibly rewarding and always full of new discoveries. I enjoy getting to know my students and learning about the different ways they approach learning, it makes every lesson unique and exciting. I’m 26 years old and from the South of England. In my free time, you’ll often find me reading, listening to music, or playing online games. I believe in creating a relaxed and engaging environment where learning can really come to life!

I have extensive knowledge of the GCSE English Language curriculum and specialise in supporting SEN students aged 11 to 20 who are working towards their functional skills or GCSE's. My approach begins with assessing each student’s current academic level, setting personalised goals, and working closely with both students and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes. I pride myself on being approachable and easy to talk to, and I aim to make every lesson both enjoyable and educational. My focus is on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can thrive.

Perfect! Josephine communicates her love of English to the student. She is friendly, encouraging, patient, explains clearly and prepares her lessons in advance (GCSE English Language revision for us). I highly recommend her.
