About Naomi
Teaching maths for 11 years has shown me that success starts with confidence, not formulas. My degree in Mathematics for Data Science helps me bring clarity to complex topics like linear equations, polynomials, and functions. I work primarily with middle school students who need extra support in foundational algebra. Many come to me anxious or convinced they’re “not maths people.” That belief changes quickly once we start working together. I break down each concept into manageable steps, supported by visuals, patterns, and stories. We explore puzzles, real-world connections, and practical examples that make learning stick. Every student learns differently, so I adjust my approach to fit their rhythm and style. Some thrive with games, others with repetition or discussion — and that’s okay.
