About Anah

Hey! Are you struggling with science or PE? Are you sick of feeling like you don't understand, no matter how many times you re-read that same boring paragraph? Are you an athlete breezing through your practicals, but just don't understand the textbook? Don't worry, I've been there.

School teachers don't have nearly enough time to teach you how to ace your exams. Here's a secret that you're not told... exam TECHNIQUE, exam technique, exam technique. One more time for the people in the back... EXAM TECHNIQUE. This is exactly what is missing at school!

They teach you content, but don't teach you the tricks and tips to outsmart the exam board. They don't teach you which exam questions literally only require ONE WORD to gain multiple marks. But I've got your back. I've created countless metaphors to help you remember this stuff :) The time is over for panic-scribbling all the knowledge you've got onto the exam paper - walking out of the hall with ink smudged up your palm from writing non stop. I will teach you how to breeze through your exams, coursework and practicals so you can have more time doing whatever you want!

Oh and here comes the bit your parents will care about - I am currently studying MSci Physiotherapy at University of Birmingham. I studied A Level Biology, Chemistry and PE, gaining 2A's and a B (during lockdown?!?!) as well as 7, 8 and 9 in Triple Science. And yes, I did go to a grammar school, don't worry Mum and Dad. And did I mention, I am a little bit of a nerd about this stuff; I just really do love it :)

About the lesson

- I primarily teach online, although depending on location, I would be happy to provide in-person tutoring, as I can appreciate some students learn better this way.

- My methods centre around teaching the content relevant for your exam board, with emphasis on perfecting exam technique, as this is what catches students out the most. Having completed both A-Level Biology and PE, and GCSE Triple Science and PE, I have an avid passion and a wealth of experience in tackling the written exams, coursework and practical elements - all of which my tutoring covers. Most importantly, I have a talent for condensing the difficult content, making it easier to remember and avoiding overwhelming the students!

- I achieved A's in A Level Biology and PE, and 7, 8 and 9 in Triple Science and PE. I have experience in tutoring GCSE Biology.

- A Level and GCSE are the levels I teach.
