My teaching method is definitely to allow the students to interact with what is being taught. "Hands on" learning is also a great way for a student to learn a concept. Some students are visual learners and some are experiential. Least if all are auditory learners. I try not to lecture if I can. I like for students to teach one another.
I have been working as a private tutor for over 10 years. I have just begun teaching through a computer and/or a phone. I graduated from Wake Forest University with a major in English. I have taught K, 1-6 as well as gifted education 3-12. Teaching a child a skill they had not known is one of the most gratifying experiences I have ever known.
