About Skyla
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Physics. My academic background is rooted in plasma physics and fusion energy research, an area that continues to inspire me every day. I enjoy exploring the fascinating behavior of plasma states and how they connect to some of the greatest scientific challenges of our time. Much of my focus has been on magnetic confinement and inertial confinement, two key approaches in the quest for clean, limitless energy. I bring these complex topics into my teaching in ways that are clear, engaging, and practical. With students, I don’t just explain theories—I show how they link to real-world innovations in energy solutions and space exploration. I also enjoy working with learners interested in high-energy physics, where curiosity meets cutting-edge science. My teaching style encourages critical thinking and scientific curiosity, whether you are preparing for exams, diving into assignments, or exploring beyond the classroom. For me, Physics is not just about equations—it is about discovery, imagination, and possibility. Together, we will explore the fourth state of matter and understand its enormous potential to power our future.

My teaching approach is built on making Physics both practical and inspiring. I focus on helping learners see science not just as theory, but as a way to explore the world. In my sessions, I combine clear explanations with hands-on methods, guiding students through concepts like thermodynamics, mechanics, quantitative physics, and waves.
For laboratory-related learning, I emphasize experimental design, data analysis, error propagation, and scientific reporting. These skills give students the confidence to plan, test, and communicate their findings effectively. I use a gentle and reflective style, allowing learners to process ideas at their own pace and connect them to real situations.
I enjoy working with curious minds, whether they are DIY scientists or students with a strong drive to learn. Each learner is encouraged to find their own unique way of investigating scientific problems. Instead of only giving answers, I ask questions that lead them toward deeper thinking and discovery.
The aim is not just passing exams, but developing confidence in conducting experiments and solving problems independently. By building strong foundations in both theory and practice, I support learners in excelling academically while nurturing their curiosity for science.
