About Cynthia

The smell of fresh paper and textbooks reminds me of the countless hours I have spent helping students sharpen their communication skills. My 15 years of experience in the classroom have taught me that every learner has a unique pace for acquiring complex English structures.
I hold an MA in Applied Linguistics and a CELTA which informs the way I break down phrasal verbs and academic writing for university applicants. Having worked with 312 students including immigrants and TOEFL candidates, I have seen the way language acquisition opens doors to new opportunities.
