With a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, specializing in Machine Learning, I bring a deep academic understanding to every tutoring session. My professional experience as both a Data Scientist and an ML Research Scientist in the tech industry means I can bridge the gap between textbook theory and real-world application. I've been passionate about tutoring since high school, and I've continued it throughout my career because I love demystifying complex subjects. My lessons emphasize clarity, structure, and real understanding. I aim to help students not only master the material but also develop the analytical mindset needed to apply it effectively in both academic and professional contexts.
At the start of each session, I take time to understand the student’s personal challenges and learning goals. This ensures that the lesson is focused and relevant to their needs. From there, we begin with a concise conceptual overview to establish a solid foundation, followed by guided problem-solving and discussion of practical examples. I use a highly interactive approach that encourages students to think critically, connect ideas across topics, and gain intuition for how theory informs practice.
I teach a range of subjects — including calculus, linear algebra, probability, statistics, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, agentic AI, and Python programming — and adapt my methodology to the student’s background and objectives. Whether supporting a high school student preparing for university, an undergraduate building technical proficiency, or a graduate student exploring advanced topics, I provide structured, goal-oriented instruction.
What sets my lessons apart is the integration of academic rigor with real-world application. Drawing on my experience in AI and data science, I demonstrate how abstract concepts translate into modern technologies and research.
