About Delia
Title and concept development combined with point of view and perspective drive my songwriting sessions. Words are tools.
I hold a BM in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music and apply that formal training to every lyric we write. Editing and rewriting is how I turn a draft into a song.
I teach how to use imagery and detail in lyrics to hook a listener. My approach is centered on song structure such as verse or chorus or bridge.
I understand genre conventions for pop and country and folk and R&B music. My personal narrative as a producer taught me that finishing beats matters more than perfecting them. I balance craft and creativity to keep your ideas moving.
