About Sofia
Graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire remains my proudest academic achievement. Truthfully, I still get nervous before stepping onto a stage after 10 years of professional classical singing. Those years of performance have refined my ear to hear every subtle shift in tone.
Working with performance focused students and advanced learners requires absolute precision. Hobbyists often appreciate how I break down complex mechanics into manageable parts. Children and adults alike find my approach keeps the work light but effective.
I truly enjoy seeing a student find their unique voice. The process of discovering a new resonance is quite a joy.

Focusing on clear technique provides the quickest path to artistic freedom. Confessionally, I spent far too long early in my training trying to force my voice into unnatural shapes. Drawing from 13 years of experience, I guide you through ABRSM and Trinity graded exams from Grade 1 through Diploma level.
My teaching ensures that head and chest voice transitions feel seamless rather than jarring. Harmony singing and pitch control receive particular attention to build your foundational accuracy.
Rhythm and phrasing are polished until your delivery feels entirely natural. You will receive free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes to practise at home.
