I teach through playing. I show the student a guide then ask them to come up with something. While they are playing I'll make a few adjustments and or suggestions. This way the student can explore the guitar without too many restrictions. I try to guide instead of correct or limit.

Great technique, you can tell he’s spent a ridiculous amount of years learning. Good attitude towards teaching, it was really hard for me to get going but he stuck with it even if I looked (and sounded) helpless. Now I play!
Ryan has a very creative approach and helped simplify many concepts i could not easily grasp before. He encourages me by referencing and teaching genres and songs that i enjoy. I always hesitated learning guitar at an old age, but i am now feeling confident as Ryan has prepared me with a strong foundation.
