About Quinn

I am a passionate singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education, with a focus on voice. I specialize in working with choirs, vocal ensembles, and group harmony training. My teaching covers styles such as Classical, Sacred, A Cappella, and Barbershop, helping singers explore diverse musical traditions. I emphasize sight singing, solfège, choral blend, and part-singing, ensuring each student contributes confidently to the ensemble. I also guide students in rehearsal leadership, fostering both musical and interpersonal growth. Over the years, I have successfully worked with school choirs, college ensembles, and community singing groups. My lessons focus on developing strong musicianship while keeping the experience enjoyable and inclusive. I love helping singers connect their ear, mind, and voice to achieve precise harmonies. Each rehearsal is structured to build confidence, accuracy, and expressive musicality. Students learn to listen, adapt, and blend seamlessly with others. I encourage creativity and interpretation, alongside technical skill, so every voice shines. Above all, I aim to create a warm, supportive environment where singers discover the joy of singing together. Learning to harmonize, lead, and grow as part of a group is deeply rewarding. Every voice matters, and every session is an opportunity to improve and celebrate music. If you want, I can also craft a slightly shorter, punchier version optimized for attracting students quickly on platforms like Superprof.

For The Orchestra Member, lessons focus on strengthening music literacy to excel in ensemble settings. Start with notation reading, learning key signatures, rhythms, and dynamics. Use sight-singing apps to practice melodies directly from sheet music, building confidence in real-time performance. Interval training develops pitch accuracy, while rhythm exercises with metronomes or rhythm trainers ensure timing precision. Harmony building exercises help internalize chord structures and blend seamlessly with orchestral parts. Regular practice links ear, mind, and voice, reinforcing note recognition and expressive playing. Over time, students improve sight-reading speed and ensemble responsiveness.

For The Crossover Artist, lessons emphasize versatility and improvisation alongside literacy. Begin with notation tools to decode scores from multiple genres. Interval drills sharpen melodic intuition, while rhythm exercises in varied styles strengthen groove and timing. Harmony practice encourages layering and vocal arrangement skills. Sight-singing apps accelerate learning of unfamiliar repertoire, while connecting ear, mind, and voice fosters spontaneous interpretation. Gradually, the artist develops quick-reading skills, stylistic flexibility, and confident improvisation. Both personas benefit from steady, consistent practice, which turns technical drills into natural, expressive musicianship.

If you want, I can also create a more playful version with concrete daily exercises to make it even more student-friendly.
