About Helen
Fully qualified teacher of Business Education with a 1st class B.Ed Hons. 30 years teaching experience as a Head of Vocational Education, Head of Business Studies and Economics, KS4 Pastoral Leader, Head of Year 11, Head of House and BTEC/GNVQ Coordinator. I am studying an MBA in Global Online Strategy in Health and Social Care, and I have taught this subject recently for 6yrs as lead teacher.

I use a variety of pedagogic styles and match my teaching style to the needs of my students. We are are all unique individuals, so no one style fits all. My vast experience of mixed ability teaching in a variety of Schools and Colleges, has given me the skills required to adapt and cater for all needs and abilities, including Gifted and Talented, High Achievers, SEN, SEMH, Vulnerable and Additional Needs Students. I aim to make my lessons informative, fun, real and entertaining. My lessons will always follow a common structure, which will be adapted to suit the learning style best suited to the student. I became a teacher because I love learning, to learn is to grow; physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually. Learning keeps us alive, it keeps us moving forward, it stimulates our brain and it feeds our soul, we exist to learn, and that is why I love teaching.
