About Monica
"Performing in musical theater for 13 years led me directly into this teaching career. You will find that I listen to your voice with a sharp ear and a kind heart. Working in New York allows me to coach singers preparing for BFA programs and Broadway auditions.
My BM degree from Boston Conservatory at Berklee provides a technical foundation for all my students. I enjoy working with working professionals and dedicated hobbyists who want to grow. My goal is to make your practice process feel manageable and clear."

"Sometimes it feels daunting to stand in front of a mirror and critique your own sound. We focus on breathing control and pitch control to ensure you feel secure while performing.
I use my 9 years of teaching to help you navigate belting technique and microphone technique without strain. Diction, articulation, and vibrato control become second nature as we work through your repertoire together. We also tackle stage fear management to keep your nerves from impacting your performance.
Exam preparation remains a central part of how I support your vocal development. I assign homework vocal drills after every session to keep you moving forward."
