About Kit
I'm a 1st year Biology student at the University of Manchester. I've been informally tutoring friends and classmates since starting my GCSEs in 2014. During the 2021-2022 academic year I worked as a tutor at Explore Learning. I achieved 4A*s in my A Levels (including in Maths and Further Maths) and I have several years of experience working with children and young people in a variety of settings.

I tutor in Maths from KS2 to AS Level (FSMQ/Further Maths GCSE included). Lessons are typically an hour long (but open to discussion and can be flexible). I have previously tutored in Maths and English through an agency and worked with students from 4-15. I believe in a personalised approach for each student, however I regularly use scaffolding and try and employ a Socratic method where possible. I also aim to help my students become confident learners who love learning as much as I do!
