About Tom
I’m a first class graduate from the University of Oxford in PPE in which I received awards for scoring the highest exam scores across the university in Economics modules. I'm now enrolled in a masters programme in Economics also at Oxford.
I've 3 years tutoring Econ A Level and specialise in PPE and E&M admissions into Oxford (TSA Prep, Interview Prep, Personal Statement Review). Cheaper rate offered on superprof rather than through the agencies I work with!
Outside of my degree, I’m an avid sportsman. I’ve won World and European championships in youth and junior sailing classes choosing to pursue a degree rather than join the Olympic pathway. I also play rugby, cricket and squash throughout the year.
I’m often invited to teach sailing around the World in places such as San Francisco, New York and Greece.

My teaching methodology is student focused. I’d typically work through problems or questions with my student in a similar manner to the world-renowned Oxford tutorial system.
I can be flexible with lesson length. However, I find hour long lessons are best before concentration levels start to wane.
I’m happy to tutor for GCSE, A-Level and Undergraduate Levels.
