About Fanta

On top of being a friendly and flexible tutor, I take my role seriously and always strive to bring a professional, dependable attitude to every session. My experience working with kids and teens, combined with my academic success in high school and college, has taught me how to adapt and connect with students in a way that builds their confidence.

You can trust that I’ll be prepared and dedicated, using proven strategies that fit each student’s needs. I’m committed to creating a welcoming space where learning feels engaging and achievable. About the lesson

Hi there! I’m a current NYU Nursing student who’s passionate about helping others succeed academically. In high school, I was a straight-A student, and I’m still dedicated to keeping my grades up. I know how stressful school can get, so I always try to make my tutoring sessions fun, engaging, and stress-free.

I love working with kids and teens—I’ve got three younger brothers and plenty of experience as a babysitter, so I’m super patient and adaptable. I know that everyone learns differently, so I use different tutoring methods to find what works best for each person.

I’m strong in all subjects, but I especially love helping with writing and English assignments — I got 4s on my AP Lit and Seminar exams. Breaking down texts and revising essays is one of my favorite things to do, and people often come to me for that kind of help. I’m also a huge math nerd—I got 5s on my AP Stats and Calc exams, and even though math isn’t required for my major, I still love working through problems just for fun!

For older students, I’m happy to share insights into the college application process since I went through it myself. I always aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment, and I love getting to know what motivates each student. Whether it’s math, writing, or general study tips, I’m here to make learning as enjoyable and effective as possible. Looking forward to working with you!
