About Sharon
A warm-up exercise sounds like a gentle hum that clears the air for the work ahead. I use my 13 years of experience to demonstrate proper microphone technique and posture. Singing feels natural when you understand the mechanics of your own resonance.
Because I emphasize vocal health, you will receive homework vocal drills assigned after every session. It is a productive way to keep your voice in shape between our scheduled times. You are welcome to join me for a session whenever you feel ready.

Absolute beginners frequently find their voice during our first few meetings together. I am a native Spanish speaker and a BM Contemporary Music graduate who has performed for 13 years. My background in the Latin music scene influences how I teach rhythm and phrasing to my students. I work with many people who are returning to singing or preparing for grade exams.
Many self taught players come to me looking for structure. Vocal health and resonance are central to my teaching philosophy. I enjoy seeing students master their belting technique.
