About
Ms. Hannah is a composer and multi-instrumentalist with a deep love for storytelling through music. Originally from Spring, Texas, she first picked up the violin in fifth grade thanks to a playful bribe from her dad—and she’s been making music ever since!
After over a decade of violin study, Ms. Hannah earned her Bachelor of Music in Composition from the University of Texas at San Antonio and recently completed her Master’s in Music Composition at Texas State University. While at Texas State, she performed with the Mysterium New Music Ensemble and composed multimedia works that explored history, culture, and place—including Los Inocentes, inspired by the San Marcos River and the indigenous communities who once lived there.
Ms. Hannah currently teaches violin, ukulele, piano, composition, and music theory. She has experience teaching both group and one-on-one lessons, and she enjoys tailoring her approach to fit each student’s pace and interests. With her strong background in music theory, she helps students not only play but also understand the language of music. She is passionate about helping students discover their own creative voice and making music a joyful, personal experience for every learner.
