About Alexander
As a 4th year medical student, I still remember how much I loved tutoring before I started med school. My favorite moments with my students were those infamous "uh-huh" moments, when a difficult concept finally makes sense. It's the best feeling in the world, and we've all experienced it before. It's for that reason that I want to get into Academic Medicine in the future.
I have 11 years of experience tutoring both one on one and large group sessions. I have seen so many students succeed around me, and that is all I want to continue to doin the future as a tutor in the math and sciences.

I normally like to give my students a brief rundown so to speak on the topic at hand, while also throwing in a few problems and working them out slow. After, I tend to have my students try some problems out on their own while at the same time discussing to me what they are doing and why. I have always felt that this truly helps ingrain concepts, because if you can discuss exactly what you are doing and why, then you understand. I am always open to questions at any point during our tutoring.
As a 4th year medical student, and soon to be resident physician, my everyday interactions include discussions and educating the 3rd and 2nd year students.
