About Laeeka
My name is Laeeka Edries, a Durban lass, based in sunny South Africa.
If we were in a game right now, you would find that I have unlocked many skins as a journalist, a lecturer, a photographer, an editor, a branch manager and a manager of content strategy. My modus operandi is compassion and curiosity.
On this journey of mine, I also help other players reach their ultimate goals and unlock higher levels on their journeys.
I believe that the essence of humanity is empathy. I care about the growth of those around me and this is where you come in. I will move mountains to help you gain control of the English language.
When I take my mum cap off, you can catch me sipping on a hot cup of mocha, watching a feel good comedy or jumping around on the netball field. My glass is always half full, and I am deeply rooted in my South African heritage.
I believe that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, hence in my virtual classroom, this is your safe space. Apart from just learning English together, I would love to learn about you and which methods of learning work best for you.
