About Aerin
Hi!
I’m a 17-year-old tutor who’s been teaching students struggling with mathematical concepts and questions since before high school.
I’ve decided to take on tutoring as I’ve realized that I’m quite adept in explaining and teaching mathematical concepts to my fellow students.
Instead of just boring explanations for hours on end, I like to give my students time to understand and complete their practice questions themselves (using my short tips and explanations).
I believe in the power of combining logic and memorization to efficiently understand and answer questions over just basic robotic memorizing.

My teaching style focuses on the rules behind equations and the logic behind answering each question so that the student understands how to answer and why the method for each problem works.
The typical length of a lesson would be around 30 minutes to 1 and 1/2 hours— focusing on answering a group of similar questions or teaching a specific topic.
I’ve been tutoring my fellow students and friends since before high school and have played a part in ensuring they passed each lesson I helped with.
My lessons are mostly for students who are studying high school mathematics, accounting or business concepts.
