About Brendan
I am a veteran radio broadcaster, audio producer, pianist, and vocalist with a multi-decade career in the media and entertainment industry. Having spent 25 years living and working internationally before returning to South Africa, I deeply understand the vital role that clear, confident communication plays in navigating a globalised world.
Throughout my broadcasting career, I have had the privilege of working as a presenter and producer for some of South Africa’s most iconic radio stations, including legendary households names like Capital Radio 604 and East Coast Radio. Operating in these fast-paced, high-standard media environments honed my absolute command over vocal dynamics, microphone projection, script-reading, and live conversational flow—skills that I now directly pass on to my students to help them sound clear, authoritative, and engaging.
Alongside my media career, I have more than 5 years of dedicated experience as an online English tutor, successfully coaching adult students from all over the world. I hold a TEFL certification specialising in one-to-one tutoring.
My unique background in broadcasting and vocal performance means I bring a rare set of skills to language tutoring. I don't just help you find the right words—I coach you on how to deliver them with maximum clarity, professional rhythm, and vocal presence.
