About Damla
I have a Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from the University of California. Electronic Engineering degree from Sabanci University in Turkey. I got 85 th ranking in the annual central nationwide university entrance exam among approx. 1,5 million test takers. During university and PhD, I worked as a teaching assistant and a researcher. In the recent years, I have worked on volunteer projects with younger age groups. I worked with socially disadvantaged individuals with a wide variety of learning methods.

The basis of learning is learning how to learn. The student should be actively interested in the subject and develop his own learning method with motivation and time. The role of a teacher here is to make this process easier for them. As every person is different, everyone's learning path will be different. Therefore, the role of the teacher here is to facilitate learning by offering appropriate methods to each student, creating curiosity and enthusiasm. I also aim to teach each student by determining both their level and learning style and following a fun but a disciplined way.
