About Satyanarayanan
I am student and research assistant at NBRC, with 1st division in BSc(H) mathematics from University of Delhi and MSc from IIT Delhi. During my academic period I have thought of problems and solved them, tough textbook problems, proved incomplete/unsolved results in textbooks, developed alternative proofs and solutions. I publish them in my mathematical blog along with special topics.

First work on concepts, building groundwork in any topic, starting with proofs of results and changes to conditions that a result requires to be extended. Similarly, for solving a problem, especially physical, I look for making best approximate model, most appropriate formulae.
In a class with problem or result first of all I proceed with tools of proving results. To this I use the divide and conquer strategy. I highlight importance of types of proofs for different occasions - Inductive/ constructive proofs, rewriting contrapositive/ proof by contradicting, and other methods from logic. Problem solving is illustrated using results leading to quick and easy solving and simultaneously interpreting what is actually being done from other perspective f.e. geometric.
I try to keep my patience in explaining tough results and problems, I repeat explaining second and third time. But, student need to put their efforts too.
I concentrate my teaching for students of college onward on various topics of math.
