About Kenneth
Chemistry is often seen as a mountain of memorization, but the reality is that everything follows a beautiful, predictable logic. After 13 years of teaching 357 students, I have realized that the best way to handle the periodic table and trends is to stop treating it like a list to be recited. My path to becoming a PhD candidate at MIT began with a curiosity about why substances interact in such precise ways. I guide hobbyists, homework help seekers, and intermediate learners through the intricacies of reaction mechanisms and physical chemistry.
My approach involves breaking down electrochemistry into manageable pieces that align with the way you think about science. When I help a student conquer acids and bases, I prioritize clear explanations over technical jargon. It is incredibly rewarding to witness the moment when a learner finally connects a conceptual learning bridge to their own classroom curriculum. I truly enjoy seeing people gain confidence in their own analytical abilities through these sessions.

Our first session begins by walking through a single reaction mechanism on a shared whiteboard to identify exactly where your logic hits a wall. This immediate diagnostic allows me to see how you approach problems so we can adjust our strategy right away. Having taught 357 students across various levels, I bring the precision of my MIT physics background into our chemical discussions.
You get free access to my reaction mechanism and formula notes to support your independent study between our meetings. Understanding. This is our primary target.
We look at your specific course requirements to ensure you are ready for your next board exam or homework challenge. Beginners find that this structured approach removes the anxiety often associated with the subject. I look forward to helping you navigate the complexities of your syllabus with renewed focus.
