About Tash
I have been drawing from as soon as I was old enough to hold a crayon. Visual arts was my top subject throughout high-school, and I attended art school for 2 years as an extra carricular activity. I am now a painter by profession.

I believe every human being craves creative expression and is capable of making something beautiful. You do not need years of experience or a degree, you need only the desire and a medium to work with. I do not believe any artist should compare their art to anyone one else's, nor try to imitate existing artists. I strive to help you create honest art that comes from your core. We'll focus on your strengths and what you enjoy, and build your style up from there.
In our first session we will start with basic water colour painting and pen drawing. Sessions are 2 hours, with a break between the hours if you need it. Our first session together is a trial run, in which we decide if we enjoy working together. We will attempt to zero in on your core as an artist in this first session, finding what it is you enjoy painting/drawing.
In lesson 2 we move to planning sketches and acrylic painting. I require the students to bring their own paint and canvas/paper from here on. We will focus on your acrylic painting for as many lessons as it takes to complete.
After that, if the student feels ready, we will move on to oil painting. I again require the students to bring their own materials.
We do everything at your pace, and if you find you have an affinity for one specific medium, we can focus on that for as long as you desire.
