About Shelvi
I am a dedicated A-level student hoping to study medicine at university.
Having finished my GCSEs fairly recently, I can be a huge asset in helping with the subjects as I know the correct methodology for achieving desired grades.
I've taught individuals between the age range 5-15 at Kumon for over a year and it has shown me just the type of persona you need to be in order to teach skilfully.
I achieved a 7 in Chemistry and a 7 in Maths.

I aim to make the lessons as resourceful and engaging as they can be, by using many scientifically proven effective strategies such as visuals, recall activities and providing effective feedback.
There are two main key aspects to learning : active recall and spaced repetition. I will guide you through the process of creating effective revision material.
I consider myself a very practical and time-efficient individual and therefore we would aim to focus on specification content avoiding any diversions in the course.
Another key aspect to smarter study is practising skills and recalling the learned information and hence we would undertake many past papers. Practice makes perfect!
