About Layla

I am a current 4th year undergraduate student at UCLA majoring in Spanish with a deep interest in STEM subjects - I have taken AP Calculus AB and BC, getting a 5 on both AP Exams, taken several Chemistry and Organic Chemistry classes at UCLA getting As and A+s in each, taken several Physics courses receiving an A or A+ in each, and took the Medical College Admissions test (MCAT), getting a 131 in both the Chem/Phys and Psych/Soc sections. I also took AP Spanish in high school and got a 5 on the exam.

About the lesson

Each professor teaches with a particular style. My goal is to help you learn the subject in a way that works for you and helps you tackle the questions based on the professor's style.

Our lessons include several steps - first, we can go over any concepts or topics you may have trouble with. Then, after I show you how to do a few practice questions, I will have you teach me how to tackle these questions. As a result, we will see whether you understand the material completely or if there are particular gaps in your thinking.

I wouldn't consider myself naturally smart by any means. Tackling courses and standardized tests requires a method, and I intend to help you find that method for yourself.
