Aspiring teacher studying Education Practice at university, alongside working as a Learning Support Officer

Initially I came here on Superprof for my 9 year old daughter with ADHD who struggles with her school work - in terms of written work in English class, and a brief touch upon mathematics. I found EMily, who was great with my daughter - she found suitable methods to help concentration including self led breaks to maximise independence, helpful tips for her exams, like how to cope with the unknown - phrases, vocabulary ... etc and how to respond to that.
Emily also made the lessons super engaging - my daughter is not shy showing her boredom, and Emily always kept her focus whether that meant creating work related games, or pushing through it!

I was looking for a tutor for my 6 year old daughter in Year 2 who needs help completing her homework, as she doesn't always understand it or even seem relevant to her classwork these days! Once we had matched with Emily, we thought we'd trial her out for a bit, and haven't looked back since! Emily always goes above and beyond , by this I mean that she doesn't just get Aisha (my daughter) to JUST do her homework, she makes her understand it and every lesson.
Emily is a reliable character and is flexible too - always on time & easy to communicate with. Very kind too

I was so lucky to find Emily. My two children improved their grammar so quickly. I was so surprised when I read their work from school. The punctuation was impeccable and the sentences were nicely constructed with adverbs, conjunctions and adjectives.
My two boys would have never achieved that level of English with the help of Emily who was kind and gentle with the children but at the same time she worked out very quickly their way of learning which to me made the biggest impact. The children also had a good bond with Emily.
I don't hesitate to recommend Emily for your children, she really worked wonders with them.
