  Spanish because of my origins and English because of my transition to the US.

• Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

  One important figure in Mexican culture is Frida Kahlo. She was a renowned painter known for her distinctive style and deeply personal works that explore identity, postcolonialism, gender, and pain. Kahlo's life and art have made her an enduring symbol of Mexican culture and feminism.

• Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behaviour in the language that you particularly like?

  I love how both languages have their special kind of culture.

• Why does speaking this language matter to you?

  I want to share my world view with others and have my students make their own discoveries as well.

• What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

  Immersion and commitment.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

  I acquired my language skills thanks to my teachers. They always took the time to make sure I learned everything needed to succeed. learning songs and learning how to sing them. Going to museums and different experiences. Eating the food. Leasing to others and practicing.

• How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

  My recent travel across Mexico helped me improve my language skills and deepen my knowledge by allowing me to see the culture, hear the language spoken, and experience it all in person
