About Wayne
"Graduating from the Yale School of Music in 2016 with a Master of Music in Violin remains a core pillar of my path. I admit that 13 years of teaching has taught me that the instrument is as much a psychological challenge as a physical one. Having guided countless musicians, I focus on the Suzuki method principles of listening before reading and imitation before analysis.
Shifting positions, tuning by ear, and mastering scales and arpeggios form the technical bedrock of my practice. Bowing technique, double stops, and left-hand agility are the elements I refine through classical repertoire and orchestral playing. Music theory and ear training are woven into every discussion we have together. Does this structural approach align with the way you hope to grow as a violinist?"
