About Marina

I graduated in Chemical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano in three years, with 110. I am currently attending the second year in Chemical Engineering master degree.
I attended a scientific high school, so I am prepared in scientific subjects (Algebra, Geometry, General and Organic Chemistry, Physics, Thermodynamics).
I know English well (Certifications: B2, C1 speaking and TOEIC 980/990). I offer repetitions for school subjects and possibly to prepare for a Scientific entrance test.
I have previous experience in preparing students for entrance tests.

About the lesson

My approach is based on starting from the problem (theoretical or practical, like the exercises) and evaluating what the cause is.
After that, I try to understand where there are any gaps, then provide an effective explanation of the topic. My aim is to verify that the concept is actually understood. If necessary, I explian it again by trying to create an analogy between abstract concepts and simple examples, taken from everyday life, to help better visualize many theoretical aspects. I think it is useless to try to learn a concept from memory, because once understood and mastered, it can be used in a much simpler way.
I successfully tested the method, succeeding, in just two weeks, in giving the basic concepts of General and Organic Chemistry to a Classical high school student without any basis, as a preparation for a scientific test.
