About Michaela

I am Miss. M. Oberholster, my dream job was always to be a teacher. I started my teaching profession as soon as I was done with school. I have 4 years of experience in the teaching profession.
What are the reasons why I love teaching?

I make a difference – As a teacher, I can positively influence a child’s way of thinking or doing. Essentially, I can be the positive influence in their lives.

I can inspire – I can help students build self-esteem and believe in themselves and their ability to learn, no matter their background or abilities.

I can mentor a student – Students sometimes need someone to look up to and to aspire to be like. A teacher can help guide a child down the right path in life, one that will lead to the greatest successes.

I experience a diverse world – Students can come from various socio-economic statuses, ethnic backgrounds, disabilities, and abilities. This keeps me grounded and helps me to develop empathy for all children.

I can encourage students to dream – Dreams lead to big ideas, which can lead to innovations and changes for the future. A teacher can inspire students to think beyond their comfort zones and challenge them to reach their fullest potential.

I want to ignite the spark of learning – There are many students who say they hate school because it’s boring. I want to spark their interest and help them understand that they are smart and capable of learning, no matter their ability.

As a teacher, I believe I have a reason for doing what I’m doing. It helps bring value and meaning to my life.

About the lesson

I create the perfect lesson plan for students to engaging in activity. It is essential for me to have ways to keep my classes interesting so my students can absorb and retain the information that I present. Some of the unique ways I help students learn are:
Create Classroom Games
Use Technology
Think Outside the Box
Try to incorporate a sense of surprise and mystery into your lessons.This is a fun way to make my lesson mysterious, and that the students are actually looking forward to finding out what they'll be learning about next.
I remain flexible at all times.
And the most important thing is that I will always have clear communication that students will understand.
