About Grace
I am a Chemistry tutor with 5 years of experience and a MSc in Radiochemistry. My specialization is food chemistry and nutritional science. I focus on macromolecules like proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids, and their role in diet. Food additives are also part of my teaching, where I explain their benefits and risks. I bring metabolic processes into focus, showing how nutrients are processed in the body. Students often practice dietary analysis to connect science to real life. This makes concepts meaningful and practical. I also discuss food product development, teaching how chemistry is used in creating new foods. Cooking chemistry is one of my favorite ways to engage learners. From emulsions in mayonnaise to the crispness of baked goods, science is everywhere. I create lessons that mix explanation, practice, and application. I encourage students to think critically about what they eat. My goal is to make chemistry a subject that is useful and exciting. Together, we will use chemistry to better understand nutrition and culinary science.

I take a relaxed and application-focused approach to teaching chemistry. Analytical chemistry forms the base of my lessons. Spectroscopy, including NMR, IR, and UV-Vis, is taught through simple explanations and real-world cases. Chromatography is explained with a focus on how it applies to actual lab work. I also emphasize quantitative analysis, helping students handle data with precision. Instrumental analysis ties all of these skills together. My teaching supports geneticists and microbiologists who want to strengthen their lab techniques. From analyzing DNA fragments to studying metabolic pathways, chemistry becomes a vital partner. Lessons are interactive and flexible to meet student needs. I encourage curiosity and questioning. Mistakes are used as learning opportunities. I believe chemistry should be practical, not just theoretical. My goal is to help every learner feel confident in applying chemistry to science. Let’s make chemistry meaningful and useful for your lab work.
