About Frida
As a Chemistry tutor with more than 5 years of experience and a MSc in Radiochemistry, I specialize in food chemistry and nutrition. I teach students about macromolecules such as proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. These lessons show how food fuels health and energy. Food additives are also explained, from flavor enhancers to preservatives. I make metabolic processes clear and structured for easier learning. I often use dietary analysis so students can apply lessons to their own meals. Food product development is another area I bring into teaching. Students see how chemistry shapes modern food. Cooking chemistry is one of the most exciting parts of my lessons. Understanding how heat, reactions, and mixing transform ingredients makes science come alive. I design lessons that are practical, supportive, and interactive. My aim is to help learners gain both knowledge and confidence. Chemistry is not just a subject—it’s a guide to everyday choices. Together, we’ll explore chemistry and uncover insights into healthy eating and culinary science.

My teaching approach in chemistry is relaxed, practical, and focused on application. Analytical chemistry is my main area, covering spectroscopy like NMR, IR, and UV-Vis. I also teach chromatography as a vital lab skill. Quantitative analysis is explained with examples that show its importance in accurate science. I use instrumental analysis to link concepts directly to practice. Lessons are structured but flexible, adapting to student needs. For geneticists and microbiologists, I provide dedicated support in using chemistry for lab techniques. From studying metabolic reactions to testing compounds, chemistry supports their research. I create lessons that are interactive and clear. Students are encouraged to apply concepts, not just memorize them. I believe learning should feel useful and motivating. Each session connects theory with hands-on science. My goal is to help learners feel confident and capable in the lab. Let’s make chemistry relevant and practical for your work.
