About Prema
I am a mathematics teacher originally from Mumbai. I work as a Primary Years Math and computer teacher at an SVB's UMT high School. My mission is to ensure that every child succeeds and feels proud of their accomplishments. I have been a teacher for 4 years and I have tutored children both in-person at their homes and online for the past two years. I can help your child with homework assignments and projects in addition to teaching basic skills. My students say I am kind and funny, too!

My Teaching Method is Math and Computer. As a professional teacher I am caring, passionate, enthusiastic and excited about providing engaging and challenging learning experiences. My aim is to assist, encourage and support students to achieve their learning goals. In my classroom I believe that all students have the fundamental right to have access to a successful and fulfilling education in order to be productive and valuable members of society. I take on a holistic, flexible and differentiated pedagogical approach to teaching, to allow for inclusivity within my classroom domains. I strongly believe that there is no one size fits all approach to pedagogy and learning. Therefore, I constantly need to know my students backgrounds, ethnicity, cultures, religions and capabilities to provide quality and engaging learning experiences to engage and challenge all students.
