About Toni-lee
I discovered yoga when I was 26, and it helped alleviate an old neck injury I had from a car accident. I also found it helped me deal with stress, and it kept me fit and slender. I started with hatha yoga and I’m very grateful to my first yoga teachers who helped lay a solid foundation for my practise.
In 2006 I went to my first Astanga class and was so physically challenged that I kept going back for another 6 years!
In 2012 I decided to do my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and I trained with Vidya Heisel through her school Frog Lotus Yoga. The teacher training was held in Ubud Bali and it transformed my yoga practise and me as a yogi.
Today I share this dynamic, creative style with students from all over the world, as I offer in-studio classes in Cape Town, and online classes. I balance strength with stretch and my flow takes you up the bell curve so there is always a proper warm up that leads to a vigorous Vinyasa Flow ending with more Yin cooling seated postures and ending in shavasana (corpse pose) to relax, rest, absorb and surrender. It’s the perfect moving meditation for a healthy, happy mind and body

I teach a dynamic, flowing style that is fun and will definitely make you stronger and more flexible. I offer modifications for all levels, from beginner to advanced, so you can tailor the practise to your fitness and flexibility level or even if you are suffering from any injury or physical limitation.
