About Will
I've been making films for over 15 years, working across multiple roles and specialising in directing. My work includes fiction, documentary, experimental and branded films. I also have lecturing experience and devise workshops around film. I aim to be constructive, supportive and fun, with a humanistic, engaging approach to the art of filmmaking.

When I'm not making films, I teach about them, with lecturer experience on film courses across the UK and multiple devised workshops under my belt.
I can offer:
INTRO TO DIRECTING
a tailored course responding to your experience, bringing you into the art of directing a film. Topics include creative development, shotlisting, managing crew, casting, on-set tactics and techniques, and approaches to post-production.
MAKE YOUR FIRST SHORT FILM
A crash course in the many ways to approach making your first short film. This beginner course samples all the major filmmaking roles, including writing, directing, camera operation, lighting, sound recording, editing, sound mix and colour grade.
FILM FEEDBACK
This one-off session is an opportunity to get feedback on your creative project, whether it's in pre-production, a rough edit, or an older project you're reconsidering. This constructive, discursive session is all about helping you grow as a creative filmmaker.
