About Christina

I have lived and taught in Japan as an English teacher for 3+ years. I've traveled to Seoul, Korea, and many other countries doing what I love. That is connecting with people and learning different languages and cultures. I am multilingual in five different languages and have owned many businesses overseas. I love making new friends everywhere that I go, no matter the age group. As I understand that I may not be a perfect match with everyone that I come across. However, I am a unique and transparent guide that will always support what you feel best fits your needs educationally and emotionally. About the lesson

I love connecting with my students through "real-world" experiences and conversations. Transparency and respect goes a long way between a student and a teacher. I provide that experience to my students, so they can step out into the world prepared to develop business and personal relationships with others. I care about my student's well-being outside of the classroom because it affects their ability to retain the information provided. My teaching skills focus on but are not limited to "Interpersonal skills" and "Emotional Intelligence." Aside from academic subjects, I teach about the latest trends, whether it's music, art, fashion, or celebrity news. I allow my students to talk about how their day is going, and their interaction with others regarding our lessons and assignments. I specialize in BICS, typically, my target area would be towards (3rd grade-high school) students. My lesson plans vary from day to day. I usually demonstrate via PowerPoint over zoom and bring in objects about the subject. For example ; (apples, children's books, or vowel flashcards). On other days I let my students lead through basic conversation of their choice as long as it's school appropriate. If you have any additional questions please feel free to reach out.
