About Liz
I lived and worked in Japan for over 3 years, and return to visit occasionally.
I have a masters' degree in applied linguistics and ESL teaching.
I have been working with Japanese people one-on-one for over 30 years.
I have been a board member of the Japan America Society of Georgia for over 5 years.
I can speak basic Japanese.
I teach on Zoom so any place in the world is our classroom!

I use a tested technique to meet each and every student at their own level and using their own language and experiences (no textbooks).
I use the Color Vowel Approach to improve pronunciation. Students write in a diary to bring their own English to each lesson.
I have optional homework activities where students record themselves reading and speaking about topics and I give them feedback.
I specialize in working with Japanese speakers who need to "level up" their English for living and working in North America.
