About Kamila

Hi, I’m Kamila! I hold a First Class Computer Science degree from a London university.
This is definitely not my first encounter with teaching (although it's my first time officially!). I regularly tutor my 13-year-old sister in Maths, Science, and English, both online and whenever I visit family in Poland, helping her boost her test results and confidence. I also supported my peers throughout my degree, especially with tricky modules like Discrete Mathematics and Databases.

I bring that same patience, step-by-step approach here and as a bilingual tutor (English & Polish), I adapt to whichever language your child feels most comfortable in to make learning clear, engaging, and completely stress-free!

My Teaching Methodology:

My approach is simple, hands-on and stress-free - we learn by doing! Instead of long lectures, we jump straight into solving examples step by step.
I assess current level of skills, select appropriate examples that the child will be able to do for initial encouragement and slowly increasing the difficulty. When mistake happens, we stop, break it down and figure out together why it happened until everything fully clicks.

Lesson Details & Qualifications:
Who it’s for: Children aged 10-14 (but can be flexible)

Lesson length:
45-50 minutes - short, focused and effective (longer are not recommended as we all know a child can only focus for so long)

Qualifications:
BSc (Hons) in Computer Science (First Class), currently working in tech consulting within the Defence and Nuclear sectors.

Bilingual Support:
Lessons can be taught in English, Polish or a mix of both - whatever makes the student feel most comfortable
