As a proud UT Austin alum with years in science clubs and youth education, I specialize in making students feel safe asking questions, not just memorizing answers. My teaching is all about steady encouragement, flexible pacing, and drawing connections from daily life to help students bring up their marks (and excitement!) lesson by lesson.

Are you new to biology, worried about grades, or just want to finally ‘get it’? My tutoring is a safe, open space where asking questions is celebrated and every confusion becomes a step toward clarity. We start with life around you—your habits, your meals, your questions—and build science from there. Sessions are active and discussion-based, with time for stories, visuals, memory games and “explain it in your own words” checks so you own your learning.
At lesson’s end, you mark your own progress—what felt easier, what still feels shaky, and what you can now teach a friend. I check in often, knowing that confidence grows as fast as knowledge when students feel heard, supported, and able to express what they really know—not just what’s “on the test.”
