About Dr Joslyn
I have taught large (over 150 students) and small (under 10 students) classes. Since 2006, I have taught General Biology (with a lab), Biology for Health Science, Ecology (with a lab), and Wild Life Biology (with a lab). As an Adjunct Professor at the College of Santa Fe (Albuquerque campus), the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute (SIPI), and the University of New Mexico, I have had excellent opportunities to develop creative learning methods and techniques.

I have a PhD in Biology, MS in Biology, BS in Biology and BA in Anthropology. I have encouraged my students to think and write critically about their experiences in science and to pursue higher education. My philosophy is that education improves the life of the individual as well as that of the society in which that person lives. Education should address the needs of the student, their family, and their community. I believe learning should never end.
