About Amanda
Hi, I'm Amanda!!!
I have my RN, BSN from Madonna University and I am currently attending Madonna again to obtain my DNP! I was a 4.0 student all throughout nursing school, and I strive to help my students perform at their best, while having fun!
I have been an RN for 6 years and have experience in the ER, oncology, oncology research, and psych. I am published on NursingCE Central writing nursing educational blogs.
I am here to make learning fun, laid-back, and to set you up for a successful career!

I engineer my teaching methods to those of my students! On our first meeting I will discuss your best learning techniques and change my lesson plans to fit your needs! I aim to make learning fun with games, acronyms, and real-life stories to help ingrain topics into your memory.
My typical lesson plan will start with objectives and then an in-depth, crash course on the topic. We will discuss any questions and at the end there will be some questions to ensure understanding.
What sets me apart as a tutor is I very vividly remember nursing school and how stressful it was. I strive to make a laid-back learning environment and to make learning fun. I also have kept all my notes from nursing school that I can send to my students to use!
My lessons are for anyone in nursing school for any class! I was a 4.0 student all throughout nursing school and have experience in many areas of nursing!

Details
I offer a free first 30-minute session to get to know my student and my student can know me! I charge $20 an hour whether in person or online but do not charge extra for traveling fees!
I am flexible and will be able to work around my student's schedule!
